Minecraft crossplay hosting for Java and Bedrock players

Run a Java Paper server with Geyser and Floodgate so supported Bedrock clients can join the same world. Mineando provides the server and additional UDP port; you configure the plugins.

One world, multiple client types

Java Edition

Java players connect directly to the Paper server.

Bedrock Edition

Supported mobile and Windows clients connect through Geyser.

Geyser + Floodgate

The plugins translate connections and use an additional UDP port.

What you configure

  1. 1.Create a Minecraft Java server and select Paper.
  2. 2.Install compatible Geyser and Floodgate plugin versions.
  3. 3.Add and configure the required UDP service in the Mineando panel.
  4. 4.Test Java and Bedrock connections before inviting the community.

Important crossplay limitations

  • Mineando does not automatically install or maintain Geyser and Floodgate for self-service servers.
  • Console access can require platform-specific workarounds and is not guaranteed.
  • Some Java mechanics, plugins, items, or version combinations behave differently on Bedrock.
  • Plugin and client versions must remain compatible after Minecraft updates.

Start with a Java Paper server

Use hourly hosting for the base server, then follow the Geyser and Floodgate setup guide.

Suggested starting point: 8 GB

Create crossplay-ready base server

The server is preselected as Java/Paper; crossplay plugins and the extra UDP port still require configuration.
